  4. Submission Requirements:
    • Documents: Covering letter, business-related information, technical details of torrefied pellet plants, and notarized Power of Attorney.
    • Submission: Softcopy via email and hard copy in person or by registered/speed post.
  5. Evaluation:
    • Evaluation based on the information provided, including visits to manufacturing units, technology assessment, and financial capability analysis.
    • Vendors must demonstrate the operational capability of their torrefaction reactor.
  6. Agreement and Capacity:
    • Shortlisted vendors may set up torrefied pellet plants near NTPC stations.
    • NTPC may enter into agreements for the procurement of torrefied biomass pellets.
    • Plant capacities starting from 20 TPD for small-scale viability testing, with larger reactors starting at 100 TPD for larger consumers.

    • Last date for queries: 10 days from EOI publication.
    • Last date for submission: 20 days from EOI publication.
